The story of our restaurant dates back to 2004. Since then we have continuously been changing and we have always tailored our services to the needs of our guests. In the beginning, our place started as a club-like bar which, over the years, has transformed into a fine-bistro-style restaurant without losing that special intimate atmosphere that makes us unique nowadays.

One of our most important goals is to provide our guests with a hospitality that impresses them in every detail 
and to give them an experience that will allow us to greet them among our regulars in the future.

We believe that hospitality only worth doing with soul!

MENU

Our goal is to use as many Hungarian high-quality ingredients in our meals as possible – something we can justifiably be proud of. Our menu follows seasonality, which means that we change it every one and a half month. This way we can always use the freshest and tastiest ingredients. During weekdays at lunchtime we await our guests with a great value lunch menu.

Évről évre, Halmai Csaba készíti az egyik kedvenc rozénkat. 2018-ban az alapot augusztus második felében válogatták, kékfrankos, merlot és pinot noir fajtákból. Rövid áztatás után a halvány rózsaszínű must hűtött tartályban erjedt, majd rövid érlelés után frissen került palackba. halvány szín, robbanó illat, vérnarancs, szamóca, kerek ízek, gazdag savak, könnyű test.

Spontaneously fermented in used in two-hectare barrels and then matured for another 7 months. it gives the consumer very rich flavours and a long aftertaste. cabernet fragrance, delicious spiciness and 13% alcohol make the sip memorable.

Cristal clear light rose color and hight viscosity. on the palate the sip is dry with raspberry and strawberries. Fresh apricot and also some flowery notes makes it round and complex. Refreshing acidity and lightness gives you the perfect and unique rose experience.

A charming wine with honey bread aromas in the bouquet. nice balance with well-proportioned sugar. a pleasing after-taste dominated by caramel.

 


 

PELLE ZSÓFIA CUVÉE 2016 TOKAJ

The wine have a golden yellow color.notes ont he nose is tropical fruits, linden tree, flowers and apricot. in addition, apple and quince are also present. in palate citruses also appiers due to good acids, perfectly balances the 130 grams of residual sugar.

Golden hue. opulent and weighty nose. aromas including notes of honey, dried fruits, christmas spices and toasted oily nuts. in line with the character of the vintage the palate reveals a mouthwatering acidity providing a counterpoint to the considerable amount of residual sugar. The tertiary flavours signalling maturity are clearly discernible: date, candied citrus, forest floor and christmas spices. a wine for special occasions.

 

JOÓ PINCÉSZET OLASZRIZLING 2018 VILLÁNY

This olaszrizling comes from Tenkes hill from the region villány. it’s a real dynamic, youthfull summer wine. immersive citrus, green apple, banana aromas and flavors, fresh acidity, bright golden yellow color, typical almond finish. 

 


 

CSERI PINCE BARNI’S RIESLING 2018 PANNONHALMA

A light-bodied, fruit-foward, racy Mosel style Rhine Riesling with citrus1and floral notes. a refreshing, fruity choice for summer days. 8 gram sugar – 8 gram acid, it’s a very drinkable Riesling.

 


 

PANNONHALMI SAUVIGNON BLANC 2018 PANNONHALMA

Pannonhalma abbey’s Sauvignon Blanc with a new label, harvested from two vineyards (Széldomb, Tavaszó). The destemmed grapes were kept on the skins for 14 hours, then fermented following gentle pressing in tanks where it was also aged on fine lees. celery, gooseberry, nettle and blood orange on the slowly opening nose. Rich and round palate with subtle structure and layered flavours owing to the small amount of whole berry fermentation. citrusy finish, lingering acidity. 

 


 

BOLYKI KIRÁLYLEÁNYKA 2018 EGER

The Bolyki labels have been renewed but the zebra is still a central element on the bottles of the Kirá- lyleányka. alongside the hippopotamus, the swallow, the raccoon, the bat and a smiling moon. The fruit was harvested from the Marinka vineyard, then fermented in temperature-controlled tanks, then aged for a short time reductively. light structure, white flowers, cool eger fruits and crispy acids.

 


 

GERVAI SIKKES 2017 ETYEK

A Pinot gris, Sauvignon Blanc and zöld veltelini (grüner veltliner) blend from the etyek hills. Medium intense nose with ripe fruit, tropical character,andcalcareous and chalky mineral notes in the background. Full palate with atouch of residual sugar, tasty white-fleshed fruit and medium length.great drinkability.

 


 

LÉGLI OLASZRIZLING 2018 BALATONBOGLÁR

“2018 was the year of olaszrizling” – Ottó Légli.
an invigorating South Balaton olaszrizling harvested from young vines. The elderflower and floral nose is followed by a dry and delicious palate with good structure and long flavours. it was fermented in tanks, then aged for half a year before bottling.

 


 

BODROG BORMŰHELY TOKAJ DRY 2017/2018 TOKAJ

Fermented in steel tank with neutral yeast. it has a good structure,very drinkable Furmint – hárslevelű cuvée. intensive orange notes, mature tropical fruits. Many people say this style is the future of Tokaj. 

 


 

KONYÁRI LOLIENSE FEHÉR 2018 BALATONLELLE

Sauvignon Blanc’s tropical fruit with lots of citrus and cut grass on the rich nose. The creamy palate is lively throughout, led by the taut acidity. The three varieties of the blend were fermented in tanks, aged on fine lees. Precise and accurate.

 


 

KISLAKI MATACS CHARDONNAY 2018 BALATON

Wine spontaneously fermented in 500 liter hungarian oak barrel. loose, white fruity, simple fragrance. Juicy, nice flower aromas, at the same time full-bodied, but smooth and well-balanced. The acid comes at the end, it has the creamy notes from the barrel.

 


 

BARDON MESZES FURMINT 2016 TOKAJ
5400 Ft/0,75 l

The Furmint of Meszes-hegy, from andesite and rhyolite soil. Flower and apple aromas, tongue- tingling acidity. a vibrant and light Furmint. Whole bunch pressing, tank fermentation, brief lees contact and 5 grams of residual sugar to go with the prominent acids.

 


 

SKIZO HEGYEINK BALATON-FELVIDÉKI KÉKNYELŰ 2017 BADACSONY
5400 Ft/0,75 l

An appealing Kéknyelű from Szentbékkálla’s Fekete hill, from clay and fine-grained basalt soil. it was spontaneously fermented in tanks, where it was also aged with lees stirring. That’s how the palate became rich and creamy. Sweet-feeling camomile flower on the nose, taut acids and authentic Kéknyelű character. it was made without ”aroma distorting”yeasts and oak use. 

 


 

CENTURIO BIRTOK FEHÉR 2018 MÁTRA

Cuvée of hárslevelű, pinot gris, olaszrizling, zenit and sárgamuskotály. a lot of promising, intense fragrance and a sip that beats what the scent promised. youthful, diverse, full of flavors of white and yellow fruits. a small amount of residual sugar makes it really charming. 

 


 

MÁTYÁS OLASZRIZLING 2017 KISÚJFALU

The olaszrizling is a local grape variety often for the everyday occasions, but this example should be different. Medium body, complex notes on the nose and on the palate, this is a more serious wine with lots of personality and a definite possibility to age as well.

 


 

ST. ANDREA ÖRÖKKÉ 2017 EGER

Slowly opening nose, orange flower, peach, ripe pear, fennel. a full-bodied, viscous palate, with invigor- ating acidity and the tuff’s chalky, dusty texture on the finish. a dense white wine with good drinkability.

 


 

BARTA PINCE EGY KIS FURMINT 2017/2018 TOKAJ
6700 Ft/0,75 l

Easy to love, fruit basket – fresh, kind character. its fermentation with natural yeast – one third part in a barrel, two-thirds in a steel container – was aged in a 500 liters of third and quarter-charged hungarian barrels with lees-yeast.

 


 

GILVESY VÁRADI FURMINT 2016/2017 BADACSONY

“i think the best until now is the 2017.” – Robert gilvesy.
The Furmint was harvested from the southeast-facing, former pasture land’s basalt soil. it was put into barrels where it was spontaneously fermented. Flint, apple, pear, taut surface, juicy content.

 


 

KREINBACHER ÖREG TŐKÉK BORA 2016 SOMLÓ
6400 Ft/0,75 l

Old vines, Somló basalt, olaszrizling, Furmint and hárslevelű. it was fermented spontaneously in barrels, then aged in five-hectoliter barrels. White-fleshed fruit, flowers, honey and stone fruit. Salty minerality on the oily medium-bodied palate. 

 


 

SAP JUHFARK 2015/2017 SOMLÓ
9400 Ft/0,75 l

Oily, almost golden like colour from this full-bodied volcanic wine, the nose is quite mineral at first, than opening to stone fruits and flowery notes. on the palate it is off-dry with beautiful acidity to balance the residual sugar, and an exploding sensation of fruits, minerality and a very lively finish.

 

IKON KIRÁLYOK 1199 2012 RÁDPUSZTA
10.400 Ft/0,75 l

This concentrated, ripe and complex red with a black core commemorates the Rádpuszta battle be- tween Prince andrás and King imre. Serious structure, with the cabernet dominating. Dense, oaky, layered and rich. 

 


 

HEIMANN BARBÁR 2016 SZEKSZÁRD
15.500 Ft/0,75 l

Low yield, careful selection, ageing in 3.5- and 10-hectolitre oak barrels for a year and a half, then blended from the nicest barrels. Dark claret colour with a black core, with deep aromas of cassis, forest fruits and blackberry. The palate is densely knit with round body but it isn’t heavy. a big wine with good balance. The bottles are sealed by the ‘breathing’ closures of ardeaSeal. 

 


 

SAUSKA CUVÉE 7 SIKLÓS 2012 VILLÁNY

Merlot (70%) and cabernet Franc (30%). Deep red, intense and elegant nose. chocolate, subtle oak, blackcurrant, blueberry, prune and candied sour cherry. velvety and elegant palate. 

 


 

SZECSKŐ TURÁN 2017 MÁTRA
11.700 Ft/0,75 l

A local grape variety renown of its intense perfumy with unlikely aromas of asian spices, rose pepper and lots of flowery notes. This is one of the best examples of it, big tannins, big acidity and lots of lots of everything in it, definitely not for the faint-hearted. 

 


 

RECAS SELENE FEKETELEÁNYKA 2017 ERDÉLY

Already its deep purple color creates a special attention to this dry red wine typical from Transylvania which is made from native grapes of this territory. after a short airing it shows the scent of plum, blueberry, cherry and currant. its has joyful acids, and spicy falloff.

 


 

BOTT FRIGYES SUPER GRANUM RED 2016 MUZSLA

The first vintage (2016) of the top Bott red wine into which our favourite Kadarka was also put, along with Kékfrankos and Pinot noir. a lighter ruby colour that is reminiscent of Burgundy, pure and intense nose and palate, sweetish ripe berry fruits made exciting by the sweet spices of barrel ageing and green herbs. zesty palate, layered, pronounced acids, fresh, crispy red fruits, long finish. 

 


 

DÚZSI SZEGZÁRDI Ó VÖRÖS BIRTOKBOR „ESTATE WINE” 2013 SZEKSZÁRD

The wine that expresses the style of the cellar the best, which became complete by the blending of five varieties (Kékfrankos, Merlot, cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot noir). it was fermented in tanks, then aged for a year and a half in large, 12-hectolitre barrels. long and broad palate with medium body, lots of fruit, fallen autumn leaf aromas and elegant spices from the barrel. 

 


 

KONYÁRI MALBEC 2017 BALATONLELLE

Deep claret colour, plum nose with black fruits and oak. a multi-flavoured Balaton Malbec that was aged in small used barrels. Minty, cool palate with forest fruits. 

 


 

BESSENYEI BIKAVÉR 2012 EGER

Spontaneously fermented, soft but still masculine, beautifully structured batch. it has only partially obtained a new barrel maturation, caused very fine barrel spices along with many fruits. 

 


 

MAURER OSZKÁR MAURER CUVÉE 2017 SZERÉMSÉG

Our favourite winemaker has made it’s most popular wine even better. Plenty of ripe forest fruit, cher- ries and raspberries on the nose and on the palate, medium body with soft tannins and a simple but enjoyable structure. anytime, anywhere.

A blend of Blauburger – the crossing of Kékfrankos and Portugieser – with Kékfrankos, Pinot noir and Turán. an aromatic, spicy, flavoursome wine with black fruit. crispy and long.

 


 

GRÁL PELZBERG KÉKFRANKOS 2016 TOLNA

After two days of steel tank soaking, it took about four weeks in a tub, tamping twice a day, and then nearly two years in mixed 225-liter barrels. Burgundy style Kékfrankos, fresh fruit, spices, fine barrel use, with great structure.

 


 

KISLAKI VITÉZ CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2017 BALATON

Really fruity, rich and well-drinkable win. aged one year in 500-liter oak barrels. The color of deep purple and ruby shades alternate. on the palate plum and cherry fruit meat, accompanied by top-notch acids.

 


 

BAKONYI CAB. FRANC (SIKLÓS) 2017 VILLÁNY

The Siklós is the new Makár. The wine’s name has changed but the contents have remained the same, or even more, the 2017 vintage is especially nice. More of a loire valley style than a villány one with its freshness and green pepper. a light and round cab Franc experience from the French clones of the városhegy vineyard, from organic cultivation. it was fermented in vats, then aged in barrels.

 


 

SZENTESI KÉTII ÉRINTÉS 2017 ETYEK

Wonderful cabernet Franc – Merlot cuvée from Szenetsi József. aged one year in used 500 litre sized oak barrel. Tuned to fruits with moderate acids. Beatiful balance. 

 


 

ALTE KELLER SZENDEHELY ZWEIGELT 2017 MÁTRA

Szendehlyen, from the öregszőlő slope, comes from 30 years old vine. elegant, complex red wine with excellent balance, flavor and smell with fruity freshness. 

 


 

BENCZE BIRTOK PINOT NOIR 2015 BALATON

The clusters have been destemmed and let to spontaneously ferment in oak barrels and stainless steel tanks. Then a small portion of the wine was aged for five months in 500 liter barrels. From the start in the cellar, we have kept each harvest day in different vessels in order to make the perfect blends. We have chosen five to compose this Pinot noir 2015. light and gratifying red with a burst of fruit aromas and delicate earthy notes. Pure Pinot noir! 

 


 

VIDA HIDASPETRE KÉKFRANKOS 2015 SZEKSZÁRD

Very fruity,with sour cherry, raspberry notes, delicious spices, ripe and pretty tannin, fine animality and long and fresh aftertaste. it is a must for Kékfrankos fans.

Cabernet Sauvignon, cabernet Franc, Merlot, Kékfrankos, Pinot noir. lots of fruit on the broad pal- ate, sour cherry preserve and cherry, alongside the vibrant acids. it’s more substantial than a rosé and smoother than a red wine.

A classic style of Kadarka with Pinot noir-like body and structure, but with lots of ripe fruit and spiciness, soft tannins and balancing acidity. a unique experience for the new-comers, and a very well known traditional style wine for the Kadarka fans.

The really great character fragrance reveals a place of production. Beautiful velvety tannins, lots of ripe fruit. Round, nice, outstanding Portugieser, which is well-drinkable. This should be the standard of Portugieser.
